FAQ’s
Is Thai Massaman spicy?
Massaman is mild in heat so suitable for the whole family.
Can I make this blend hotter?
Yes! Simply add extra chilli powder or chopped fresh chilli to ramp up the heat.
What dishes can I serve with Massaman?
Serve alongside fluffy steamed rice to mop up all those creamy juices. A fresh sprig of coriander and chopped peanuts make a great garnish or give our Fresh Thai Salad listed below all Massaman recipes a go.
What consistency should my Massaman sauce be?
When it comes time to serve, your sauce should be thick and creamy. If you find it’s a little too watery from the vegetables or meat leaching out liquid, simply reduce the sauce on its own over medium heat until thick or stir in a tsp of cornflour dissolved in a dash of water.
